In July 2021, we were tasked with aiding the refurbishment of an Ipswich swimming pool based in Thomas Wolsley, Defoe Road. We initiated our relationship with Ormiston Academies upon being contacted by them to refurbish another of their sites, the Ipswich Stoke High School.
In this project, we were responsible for tiling, specialist flooring services, electrics, and cubicle plumbing. We utilised our in-house team with the Site Manager conducting pre-contract surveys, and our Contract Manager being responsible for overseeing the administration to ensure it was completed on time and to budget. Since the swimming pool was designed for disabled children, we liaised with occupational therapists to ensure the design was adequate. This demonstrated to Ormiston Academies how flexible and adaptable we were to their requirements.
